What Are Anti Wrinkle Injections?
Anti wrinkle injections are used to prevent and reduce the appearance of wrinkles caused by the dynamic muscles of the face. When injected into specific facial muscles, wrinkle causing muscles are relaxed to reduce dynamic lines and create younger, softer and natural looking results.
Anti Wrinkle Treatments:
- Crows feet around the eyes.
- The Glabellar area : Frown lines between the eye brows.
- The Frontalis area : Horizontal lines across the forehead.
What are Dermal Fillers Used For?
Dermal fillers are small injections typically made up of hyaluronic acid that fill wrinkles and add volume to the tissue.
As we age collagen and elastin levels decline, fillers restore lost volume and plump areas so that deep set lines are reduced.
Dermal Filler Treatments:
- Nasolabial folds : nose to mouth lines
- Marionette lines : lines extending from corners of mouth to jawline
- Mouth corners and soft lines around the mouth.
What is Profhilo®?
Profhilo is an injectable skin remodelling treatment containing one of the highest concentrations of Hyaluronic Acid (HA) on the market, especially formulated for people whose skin lacks volume and elasticity. Rather than just plumping and filling wrinkles, the slow release of HA by Profhilo stimulates the production of collagen and elastin.

Appointments:
Wrinkle Relaxation times: Appointment includes assessment with GP prescriber ( if applicable ), consultation with cosmetic practitioner for opportunity to discuss treatments and answer any questions the client may have. The appointment will also include the completion of medical history and consent forms and pre treatment photographs.Treatments will then be given and the client will be given an aftercare information pack. A follow up appointment will then be made for 2 weeks later where post treatment photographs will be taken and any top injections given if necessary.
Dermal fillers: Appointment includes consultation with cosmetic practitioner optimise the clients expectations and answer any questions they may have. The appointment will also include the completion of medical history and consent forms and pre treatment photograph are taken.Treatments will then be given and further photographs will be taken to show the instant results. The client will then be given an aftercare information pack.
We ask our clients to return after 2 weeks after treatment for a review as on occasion top up injections are required and will be administered at no extra cost.

Profhilo®
A revolutionary, slow release treatment that does so much more than just plump and fill.
What Does Profhilo Treatment Involve?
Profhilo is injected just below the skin’s surface over 2 sessions 4 weeks apart. After injection it disperses quickly beneath the skin to improve hydration, without any need for massage or risk of leaving lumps or nodules. Profhilo is absorbed within a 2cm radius of its injection site, so to treat the face only 10 injection points are needed in total.
A single course of Profhilo involves 2 injectable treatments 4 weeks apart, after which you can expect to see an intense hydration. It makes the skin glow, fine lines can disappear and you’ll notice smoother, tighter skin. Courses of two treatments can be repeated every six months as needed to maintain the results.
How Does Profhilo Work?
HA is hydrophilic, meaning it draws and holds water from your body, so Profhilo acts as a hydrator rather than a filler. This makes it fantastic for those with tired, dull looking skin, transforming it into firm and luminous skin. This effect takes place within 3-5 days of treatment.
Over the next few weeks collagen and elastin production is stimulated, producing a secondary effect of skin tightening. This is useful because levels of collagen, elastin and Hyaluronic Acid in the skin rapidly drop from the age of 30, resulting in signs of ageing such as fine lines, wrinkles and lucklustre skin. Profhilo acts to reverse some of these changes. The maximum effect of Profhilo is usually seen 2 months after the second treatment.
